These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the 5 Tool Players website. By using this site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
5 Tool Players is a Southern California baseball scout team organization. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “5 Tool Players” mean 5 Tool Players, and “you” means the person using the site.
Who may use this site
Much of what we do involves high school and middle school athletes. If you are under 18, you may use this site and submit information only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Any player submission that involves an athlete under 18 must be reviewed and approved by that athlete’s parent or guardian before it is sent. Our submission form asks you to confirm this.
If you believe a minor has submitted information to us without a parent or guardian’s involvement, contact us at [email protected] and we will remove it.
Player submissions
When you complete the Player Submission Form you are giving us information about an athlete so that we can evaluate him. A few things to understand:
- Submitting the form does not secure or guarantee a roster spot, an invitation to an event, or a place at Open Scout Day.
- We do not respond to every submission. We read them all; we cannot reply to all of them.
- The information must be accurate. Measurables, academics and commitment status are what college coaches and professional scouts rely on. Submitting information you know to be false may result in removal from consideration.
- You are responsible for what you send us, including any video links you provide and the rights to share them.
How we use player information
The purpose of this organization is exposure. Information submitted to us, and information about players on our roster, may be shared with college coaches, professional scouts, and scouting services, and may be published on this site — including a player’s name, position, school, graduation year, measurables, and college commitment.
If you do not want a player’s information published or shared, tell us before submitting it. To have information removed after the fact, contact us at [email protected].

Photographs and video
We photograph and record games, showcases and events. Images and footage of participants may appear on this site and on our social media accounts. If you do not want a player pictured, let us know in writing at [email protected].
Schedules and event information
Game dates, times, opponents and venues change, sometimes at short notice. Everything published on the schedule is subject to change. Confirm details with the coaching staff before travelling to a game.
No guarantee of recruitment or advancement
Nothing on this site is a promise of a college scholarship, a professional contract, a draft selection, or recruitment by any program or organization. Our alumni and college commitment pages describe outcomes for past players. They are a record of what has happened, not a prediction of what will happen for any individual athlete.
Our content
The text, layout, photographs and graphics on this site are owned by 5 Tool Players or used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without our written consent.
College and professional club logos shown on this site are the trademarks of their respective institutions and organizations. They are used to identify where our players committed or signed. Their use here does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those institutions or organizations.
Links to other sites
This site links to third-party websites, including college programs, scouting services and our partners. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to submit false information about another person, to harass anyone, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its accounts, or to interfere with its operation.
Accounts
If you create an account on this site, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Disclaimer
This site is provided “as is.” We work to keep rosters, schedules and commitment information current and accurate, but we do not warrant that everything on the site is complete, accurate, or continuously available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 5 Tool Players is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on information published here.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
